GIN - Software for groups

Availability

The program is not available to commercial organisations or agencies. It is available to not-for-profit organisations that charges others to use it, or charge others for GIN search results, but the price of the software and annual renewal fee are 50% more than the standard prices.

GIN is only available for Windows 95 or above.

Technical requirements

To install the program you need to have a hard disk with at least 20Mb of free space on it, Windows 95 or higher, at least 16 Mb of RAM (32 Mb recommended) and (at least) a SVGA screen running (at least) at a resolution of 800x600 and a mouse or other pointing device. The program is supplied on CD ROM by default.

Updating

GIN is currently updated twice a year, though within the next few months we will be supplying users with a new version of the application which will update via the Internet more frequently.
